Launch event of the Ellie Goulding shoe collection in London: Europe’s largest shoe retailer Deichmann invited together with the British singer Ellie Goulding to the exclusive presentation of their first joint shoe collection in London. A select circle of international journalists, bloggers and celebrities were invited to the hip event location MC Motors. They witnessed a spectacular fashion show presenting the new “Ellie Goulding for Deichmann” collection and a no less breathtaking live acoustic performance by the pop star.

“For me, shoes are an expression of the mood you’re in. With the launch of my shoe collection I can express my own style. My collection includes shoes for every occasion – I really can’t decide whether I prefer to wear heels or flat shoes, that’s something that changes for me all the time,” says Ellie Goulding, who stormed the charts with songs like “Love me like you do” and “Burn” and has since become one of the most successful British solo artists of the past decade. Together with Deichmann, she celebrated the launch event of her collection in her hometown London one day before the sales launch.

Even a member of the Royal Family was there

Among the guests of the launch event were editors and influencers from all over Europe as well as many prominent personalities. Among them were “Let’s Dance” presenter Sylvie Meis and Instagram queen Pamela Reif, who both already had their own shoe collections at Deichmann. What was new was that this time all guests entered the location via a Deichmann green instead of a red carpet. With the 21-year-old Lady Amelia Windsor, a member of the Royal Family, even the British royal family was represented at the event. Also in attendance were Lilly Becker, wife of Boris Becker, and the Austrian actress and presenter Mirjam Weichselbraun, who were very happy about the home game in London. Other guests were German presenter Debbie Schippers, Magdalena Brzeska with daughter Noemi Peschel, British actresses Stephanie Davis and Jennifer Metcalfe, Spanish actress Dafne Fernandez, Danish actress Julie Zangenberg and Swedish singer Peg Parnevik.

Also premiering that evening was the TV spot for the campaign, which was produced by star director Emil Nava and presented to the public for the first time.
