Shoes for Charity

Shoes for Charity – under this claim, money was collected for the benefit of disadvantaged children through a large-scale charity campaign by the company Tatami (a Birkenstock brand). During the campaign, celebrities – including Heidi Klum, Sarah Connor and Michael Jackson – were asked to design white Tatami shoes according to their own ideas. The resulting works of art were then auctioned off. The entire proceeds of the action went to the Peter Maffay Foundation.
